About this Financial Services Guide

This Financial Services Guide (FSG) is issued by Katniss Pty Ltd (ABN 55 640 224 817), which holds Australian Financial Services Licence No. 527080 (“Katniss”, “we”, “us”, “our”). It is designed to help you understand the financial services we provide, the fees and costs, how we and our representatives are remunerated, and how we handle complaints.

Private clients only

Katniss Pty Ltd provides financial services to eligible private clients only, under applicable Australian law. We do not provide services to retail clients. Before we can deal with you, we must be satisfied that you meet our eligibility criteria. You may be asked to provide an accountant's certificate or other supporting evidence.

Financial services we provide

Under our AFS Licence, we are authorised to provide general financial product advice, deal in financial products, and arrange for persons to deal in financial products in respect of:

General advice only

The advice we provide is general financial product advice only. It does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Before acting on any general advice, you should consider whether it is appropriate for you, having regard to your own circumstances. We do not provide personal financial product advice.

How we charge

How our representatives are paid

Representatives of Katniss Pty Ltd are remunerated by salary and may receive performance-based compensation linked to firm profitability. Representatives do not receive commissions from third-party product issuers.

Associations and relationships

Where Katniss has a relationship with a product issuer or counterparty that may influence a recommendation, this will be disclosed before the advice is provided.

Conflicts of interest

We maintain a Conflicts of Interest Policy and a register of material conflicts. Any actual or potential conflict that may affect advice given to you will be disclosed.

Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Complaints

If you have a complaint, please contact us in the first instance:

We will acknowledge receipt within 24 hours and aim to resolve complaints within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may refer the matter to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) at www.afca.org.au.

Compensation arrangements

Katniss Pty Ltd holds professional indemnity insurance that complies with section 912B of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth). The cover applies to claims relating to services provided by us and our representatives.
